Everything Serves A Purpose


 

The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.                                                         -Proverbs 16:4


Being a child of God comes with many benefits and assurances. One of them is that everything that happens in our life serves a purpose; both good and evil.


With God, nothing is purposeless, coincidental, or by accident.  The God who created the heavens and the earth is not capable of an accident.  


There is also nothing that has happened to you that He didn’t allow- even the bad, hurtful and shameful things. And if He allowed it, then there’s always a way out.


No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

-1 Corinthians 10:13


We must understand that all of our experiences are either God sent or God allowed. This will help us to respond the right way. 


And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.


-Romans 8:28

God often allows painful situations in our lives for many reasons

  • To humble us

  • To open a better chapter in our lives

  • To draw us closer to Himself



We all go through moments in life that we don’t understand. The setback may not seem fair, but what you can’t see is how God is using it to serve His plan and purpose. Sometimes it’s not even about the incident, but what God is doing through the incident. Stay in faith. God is setting you up to move you forward!

In times like these, the only thing we should be spreading around is a message of hope. I'm here by the grace of God, to share with you a vision I received from the Lord on March 11th, 2020. In the vision, I saw chaos in the world. People were panicking and screaming as they ran around. All of a sudden, the sky changed and a powdered substance which consisted of different colors, spread across the globe in a rapid motion. As I kept looking, I saw two people flying in the sky towards the substance that was spreading over the globe. The faster they flew towards the substance, the faster it spread. I could hear the two screaming with a voice of HOPE that they got everything under control so everyone should stay calm and not panic. These two beings stretched out their hands and something went forth from their hand.  As soon as it mixed with the substance (with different colors) it was as though neutralization had taken place as it turned into water and hit the ground.

Are All Dreams From God?

In one of my posts do you dream? , we saw that God is the source of our dreams. He uses dreams as a medium of communication to reveal things to us. However, not all dreams are from God. What I mean is that not all of our dreams are inspired by God. Shocking but it's the truth. And as Jesus said it's our knowledge of the truth that will set us free (John 8:32). So our knowledge and understanding of dreams will help us to properly deal with them. For  we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against  the rulers, against the authorities, against  the cosmic powers over  this present darkness, against  the spiritual forces of evil  in the heavenly places. A Life Of Obedience

There is something remarkable about salespersons that is going to help us in this article. Every good salesperson has a quality embedded him that enables him to touch the heart of his customers upon his approach. He is able to study every new costumer and know how to convince them that their product is worth of buying. As believers, we are not salespersons, but we ought to have certain qualities in us that will enable us to prove to God that we are worth of His goodness. Being in a relationship with God calls for a thorough study of Him. We need to study God and His ways so we will be equipped with the ability to know how to touch His heart. Apparently, there is no amount of work that we will do that will ever equate God's goodness or love for us.
