Everything Serves A Purpose

Image
The  Lord  hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.                                                          -Proverbs 16:4 Being a child of God comes with many benefits and assurances. One of them is that everything that happens in our life serves a purpose; both good and evil. With God, nothing is purposeless, coincidental, or by accident.  The God who created the heavens and the earth is not capable of an accident.   There is also nothing that has happened to you that He didn’t allow- even the bad, hurtful and shameful things. And if He allowed it, then there’s always a way out. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. -1 Corinthians 10:13 We must understand that all of our experiences are either Go

Justified By Faith

Image
The doctrine of justification by faith is not only found in the New Testament but in the Old Testament. Genesis tells us that Abraham, in response to God’s promise, “believed the LORD, and it was counted to him as righteousness” (Gen. 15:6). Job sought to justify himself before God and in the end renounced his own righteousness (e.g., Job 32:2; 42:1–6). David was a man after God’s own heart, and yet he speaks of the blessing of justification apart from works: “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” (Ps. 32:1); “Enter not into judgment with your servant, for no one living is righteous before you” (Ps. 143:2).  Isaiah prophesies that the servant of the Lord will “make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities” (Isa. 53:11). And Habakkuk teaches us that “the righteous shall live by his faith” (Hab. 2:4), a truth which he also exemplified in his own life (Hab. 3:16–19).  Finally, Jesus himself teaches this doctrine in his parabl

Covid19: A judgement from God?

Image
In times like these, the only thing we should be spreading around is a message of hope. I'm here by the grace of God, to share with you a vision I received from the Lord on March 11th, 2020. In the vision, I saw chaos in the world. People were panicking and screaming as they ran around. All of a sudden, the sky changed and a powdered substance which consisted of different colors, spread across the globe in a rapid motion. As I kept looking, I saw two people flying in the sky towards the substance that was spreading over the globe. The faster they flew towards the substance, the faster it spread. I could hear the two screaming with a voice of HOPE that they got everything under control so everyone should stay calm and not panic. These two beings stretched out their hands and something went forth from their hand.  As soon as it mixed with the substance (with different colors) it was as though neutralization had taken place as it turned into water and hit the ground.

Ignoring The Naysayers

Image
There are two types of people that you will come across, who will leave a mark in your life. One will positively and greatly influence you, and the other will degrade and negatively influence you. These are known as motivators and naysayers.  This post will concentrate on the naysayers because, sadly, they are more vampent in affecting and bringing people down. Understand that not everyone is going to agree or be in supportive of what you do, especially, when it has to do with your dreams or visions.  Who are the naysayers? A naysayer is a person who denies, refuses, opposes, or is skeptical or cynical about something or "another person". They habitually express negative or pessimistic views: despite a general feeling that things are going well or that a person is doing well.  Jesus, the Son of God, came on earth and performed great signs and wonders, yet some people rose against Him. They knew what He was doing was genuine and that it came from God, and even saw

Living A Life Of Love

Image
We all know that a house can never be built without a foundation. Every house requires a properly laid foundation to hold and sustain it. A poor foundation will cause a collapse of the house by any storm that blows against it. So in other to build a strong house, we have to build it on a strong and solid foundation which can hold it through the midst of any storm.     Similarly, our lives need to be built on a stronger foundation. In the book of Ephesians 5, we are told to be followers of God as dear children, and walk in love. God is love, and He's the perfect one to turn to for the true meaning of love. Love is the foundation of our Christian living. We cannot effectively live our lives without love. What's love? The dictionary defines love as a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties. Howbeit, love is a complex word which goes beyond our contemporary definition, and that’s what makes love very hard to be defined. Amazingly, the

Saved By Grace

Image
The concept of salvation has been an ongoing debate among the major religious groups. Each group has their own belief of how a person can be saved and thus promote it.  Misunderstanding of how one is saved is causing a lot of people to struggle in their salvation. Howbeit,  Christianity among the rest of the religions, points to a different belief on the notion of salvation. So the key on how to be saved is well thought and explained in the Bible, which lifts weights of our shoulders. How can we obtained salvation? I strongly believe that our salvation has to depend on the one who calls for us to be saved.  For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 Regardless of the beliefs of the worldly religions, no one can ever save himself. Salvation is obtained only by the grace of God through our faith in Christ Jesus. The Bible says that there's none righteous, no, not one ( Romans 3:10 ). Salvation is the gif

Are All Dreams From God?

Image
In one of my posts do you dream? , we saw that God is the source of our dreams. He uses dreams as a medium of communication to reveal things to us. However, not all dreams are from God. What I mean is that not all of our dreams are inspired by God. Shocking but it's the truth. And as Jesus said it's our knowledge of the truth that will set us free (John 8:32). So our knowledge and understanding of dreams will help us to properly deal with them. For  we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against  the rulers, against the authorities, against  the cosmic powers over  this present darkness, against  the spiritual forces of evil  in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 As Christians, we are in a constant battle with demonic evil forces whose ultimate goal is to see our destruction.  Can our dreams be influenced by evil spirits? Amid  thoughts from  visions of the night,   when  deep sleep falls on men, 14  dread came upon me, and trembling, which made all

Do You Dream?

Image
One common shared trait of every human being is the ability to dream. Whether good or bad, dream is part of our lives. Dream is a God made medium of communication. It has been so since the creation of man. God often reveals Himself in our dreams to instruct us. And we are often inspired to do things through dreams. So dream is an essential aspect of our lives.  What's A Dream? Being a Christian, I'm going to base my definition of dream on the Bible and then move on to our basic understanding of what dream is all about.  5  In a dream,  in a vision  of the night,  when deep sleep  falls on people  as they slumber in their beds. Job 33:15 The above scripture gives a lot concerning dreams. First of all, a dream is a vision of the night, which occurs when people fall deeply asleep. For our understanding, dreams are like visions according to the Bible. There are Prophets in the Bible like Daniel who will dream and have visions as well. A vision is something tha

God's Perfect Timing

Image
God lives outside of time, yet He works with time. There is a time He has appointed to fulfill His plan and purpose in the life of His children. The timing of God, however, is never like ours. O ne day  is  with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8). We cannot comprehend His ways.  What is God's Perfect Timing  The perfect timing of God is simply a time set aside by God to release the answers or perform the requests of believers. It is a time He has set aside to accomplish His promises to us. In His time, He brings our dreams to pass. He hath made every  thing  beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 We find it hard to trust God's perfect timing because we are a people who want everything fast and on the spot. Sometimes we feel as if we are not on God's clock. Days, months and years will go by
